I padded into the den. It was cold tonight the stone wall barley saved the midday's rays. The moss was all laid out in neat nests. Being the first warrior to step foot in this camp. I picked the nest I felt was second best, leaving the best one to the deputy. My nest was on the other side of the room. It was hit by the sun at noon and morning. The deputy's nest was lit in the noon rays and the setting sun. It was protected from wind and rain and snow by the walls and ceiling. I laid down into my nest looking around waiting. Being a young tom-cat I looked forward to meeting she-cats that would be interested in my strong, powerful, broad body. I hoped to find a cat who wouldn't shudder at the site of my red eyes.

I waltzed into the den. Today I was made deputy. Everything I got would be almost the best. I would now have the best spot in the den. I would be able to have an apprentice learn my ways and skills. Ribbonstar was nice enough to let me form a patrol of the night. After the patrol I came back into the den. I looked at my fellow den-mate and nodded at him. I was the smartest cat for the job. I laid down in the best nest. It was so soft and warm. In it had soft duck feathers. Most of them were given to the Queens and Kits in the Nursery. But, as a deputy. I got some. I nuzzled into the nest and closed my green eyes. Today was an amazing day.

The extensive calico shecat with burning ember eyes shook her pelt out from last night's rain. She spun her head around an licked down her spine to clean all the mud out of it. This cat was something unique. She wasn't like the rest of her sisters and brothers. She was always a loner. Didn't want anything to do with the rest of the clan. She padded from the dark corner in which her nest was placed, and saw the deputy and NightmareMelody, she turned to him and grinned. Flicking her tail, she went over to him and sat down. Good morning, nightmaremelody!

The graceful leader padded out of her den to see her camp just srping to life. She turned and looked around to see if her deputy was awake yet. Razorwolf! she called clear across the camp. They Had some talking to do. When he didn't answer her, she went into the warriors den and saw Nightmaremeloddy and Rhythmembrace talking quietly in the corner. She nodded at them and prodded at Razorwolf Get up you lump. We need to talk for a minute. She laughed, he knew that they played aroun all the time. This was just a minor thing.

My jaw dropped slightly at how stunning this she-cat was. I tried not to stumble over me words and keep my red eyes on her face. "H-Hello RhythmEmbrace." I leaped to my paws and offered her a place to lay down. My scarlet eyes traveled along her body following her natural built and stance. Something about her drew me to love her every move.

I got onto my paws and smiled at her. "Oh do we now, Ribbionratbutt" I smiled and looked into her eyes. It was normal for him to jokingly insult her after the little play fights they had. "What do we need to talk about?"[/center]

She looked down at her deputy and smiled. Everything, Razorwolf. Now come on. We'll go to my den to converse. but I think a feast is in order. how about it? She grinned and swatted at his ear. Waiting for him to get situated so they could go.

Rhythm

Her calico body swayed. She looked Nightmaremelody in the eye and nodded. Thank you. Prey is running good today. Have you eaten? She nodded at the carcass that was just about a fox's length away from them. And licked her chops, she hadn't eaten at all today, and it was taking a toll on her.

I smiled and nodded my head in agreement with our leader. I pushed my paws into the dusty floor and got up. I elongated my body before contracting it and bowing my head and raising my silver paw up to our beloved leader allowing her to exit first. "She-cats first." I smirked and waited for her to start to leave.

NightmareMelody

I shook my head no and went over to grab the fresh prey for her. I brought it back over and laid it gently at her paws and smiled. "You eat first." I nudged it closer to her. The smell of meat waved through the air making me salivate and look at the limp body of the creature. I looked into RhythmEmbrace's eyes and smiled warmly as I watched her.

She smiled at him. He was always such the gentle-cat, even as a kit, but that was alright. She liked that in a cat. One of the main reasons she choose Razorwolf to be her deputy. Second in command. Right-hand cat. Whatever you wanted to call it that is what Razorwolf was to her. She might be forming a crush. Wasn't that against the warrior code? Mating with her deputy? She didn't know, but as she walked out of the den she was surprised to find that her camp was still. After she looked at the sun. She saw that it was time for sharing tongues. My oh my. We've wasted time Razorwolf. We must get down to business. So, off she went to the fresh kill pile to grab a mouse and return to her den. Hoping that her loyal deputy was following behind her.

nodding her head she accepted the food placed at her paws. licking her chops she dug into her meal. she as hungry. seeing as she ate like a starved fox. when she was done she looked up st Nightmaremelody. she was embarrassed of herself. a lady shouldn't be eating like that. but she as hungry. and with it being leaf-fall then prey is becoming scare. so shes eating as much as she can for the winter. because then there would hardly be anything to eat. she looked up at nightmaremelody and smaked him a shy smile. I'm sorry nightmaremelody. i really don't know what got into me. im just hungry lately. as she grinned a bit. her ember eyes sparked a flare. for there was something inside her that was screaming with all her joy. but she didn't know what. i have to get to the bottom of this.. she thought curiously to herself.

He smiled and nuzzled into her. He gazed longingly into her beautiful eyes and murmured "You're beautiful" under his breath. After he finished taking in her beauty he slipped his paw under hers and smiled. Don't be sorry. I'll sneak out some time tonight and hunt on Veldtclan's territory. Maybe bring you back a plump rabbit. And I'll catch myself a fish. He chuckled trying to make her laugh. She was just so lively.

Slowly he walked into the den, unsure of where to go or what to do. He roamed around looking around the den trying to fimiliarize himself with everything he could see.

She bounded in after Bladeflame and tackled him. Like it? she asked as she pounced on her nest and curled up in it. It was so soft and warm. She had missed it while her silver furred body had almost fallen into a deep sleep outside in the unprotected area outside of the clan. She looked around for the others waiting for them to come and join them.

He laughed a little and stood up after the tackle. Yea, it's pretty nice in here. He smiled still looking around. After taking in the area, he switched his attention to RiverLullaby. It was really nice in here, he doubted he would have found it without it being shown to him.

Curled up in a tight silver ball she smiled. Her words were muffled by her feathery silver black-tipped tail. Pull up a vacant nest and make yourself at home. She said. Slowly, she opened her jaws and let out a massive yawn which made her eyes water making them look more like dancing waters than the day she was born. She nestled down into her black paws and closed her eyes hoping to be warmed by Bladeflame and to fall asleep warm and relaxed.

Smiling softly, he stood there for a moment thinking about how peaceful she looked. The way her body slowly and gently raised and fell, matching her breaths somehow made him much more calm. He was thankful she had been under that tree when she had been. He pulled up another nest like he was told to and slowly rested down into it. He brought it close to RiverLullaby, close enough that he wrapped his tail around her to keep her warm.

Smiling softly she nuzzled into Bladeflame's warm pelt. Her eyes flickered shut. Her paws twitched in her sleep as she dreamed of running across the mountain dodging the trees getting playfully chased like when she was an apprentice. The sun shone down on her silver pelt making her look like a rippiling river. She shimmered and danced in the tall grass as it waved slowly like a tail calming the pond. She smiled softly in her sleep. The sun felt warm the breeze was soft and slow just like someone was breathing on her cheek she nuzzled into the wind to smell the daisies that had licked the wind to see what air tasted like. She woke up with a start when her nose touched something soft and warm. She had forgotten Bladeflame was next to her. Was he her sunlight and wind? She giggled softly before nuzzling down again and murmuring softly still in a sleepy voice You smell like daisies. she smiled

Blushing very lightly he smiled and nuzzled close to RiverLullaby. Watching her sleep and dream made him feel warmer, he felt like now he would be able to have the life he longed for, and he knew it was her who had given it to him. He was more grateful to her than anyone. Staying silent so he wouldn't disturb her rest, he laid barely awake listening to her and sometimes watching as she dreamed and smiled. Thank you.. He whispered to her nearly silently.
