A silent sigh escaped from her chest. Did Bladeflame want to become a father? It wasn't like she could get rid of the kits, VeldtClan would accept them, although, it would be a lose of warriors. Her eyes met his and smiled a little. Do you want to be a father? I know you really don't have a choice, but I could always raise the little rascals on my own if I had to. she said laughing a little. She had the whole clan to support her. If Bladeflame didn't want to help raise the kits, he could just go off and be a loner again.

BladeFlame He thought about it deeply, he knew he wanted to be a father, but he was nervous. He wouldn't let his mate raise their kits alone though. Smiling, he nodded. I want to be a father. I'm eager to be.. I'm nervous though.. He told her quietly. Although he was nervous, he was looking forward to their kits and becoming a father. He wondered, though, if his life as a loner would affect their kits.. He hoped not, he didn't want them to know he had been a loner..not anytime soon anyway. Maybe when they were older he could tell them about his life. All he knew at the time though, was that he wanted to be a father. |

She got up and stretched. She sighed before starting to walk to the exit to go hunting for the Clan. She may be pregnant with kits, but unlike the other queens, she wouldn't slow down and almost become a kitty-pet. She would hunt for her own food and still participate in border patrols. Would anyone find out the she-cat was pregnant? Riverlullaby sighed she wouldn't be a good mother for the kits, luckily, she would only have to watch them for six moons.

BladeFlame He stood and caught up with his mate and walked along side her. How do you feel about being a mother? He asked as they walked. He had been sure from the day that he had met RiverLullaby out by the tree that she would make a wonderful mother, and now after he and RazorWolf's conversation earlier, he was positive of it. He agreed with RazorWolf that she would be a good mother for the kits. |

Riverlullaby thought carefully before speaking. I won't be a mother. I am only taking care of kits for six moons. Once they are six moons, they will turn into apprentices, and they will no longer be mine. Plus, I will supply myself along with the clan and I won't drop out of the line of duty, like the other queens. If there is a battle, I shall fight in it. she said. Her frost blue eyes reflecting her thoughts of not knowing if she should hunt while bearing kits.

BladeFlame He was walking along with her at her side as he listened. He could tell she was on her way out to hunt, so he tried to distract her from hunting. What if they wanted to be apprentices under you though? He continued walking, slightly slowing his pace so she would too in order to stay beside him. |

She stopped and looked at him. A loner like him would have a lot to learn in a clan. She closed her eyes and drew in a cool stready breath holding it for a few moments, as if to pause time. Before releasing the air slowly in a narrow path out of her mouth. They will not have a choice. They will be mentored by who Ribbonstar, or if the time comes, Razorwolf, says they will be mentored by. I do not have a say. She said before looking out of the den ignoring the pain in her belly.

BladeFlame Stopping along with her, he nodded slowly. Oh.. He said quietly. He knew there were obviously some things he still did not know about Clan life. He'd learn with time though. When he got here, he know nothing of how to live or what his role was. Now he knows his place and how the basic flow of things go on around here. Within a few more moons he should know the majority of things. He followed her gaze leading outside. |

She softly sighed before looking to the dirt floor. She was weak making her unable to go out hunting or boarder patrol. It didn't really occur to the silver-tabby she-cat that the Clan's future relied on her. If her kits were not born to survive, who would mate with Ribbonstar's kits and produce more kits for the clans? With that being said she started out of the den to the nursery. Her belly was round with the kits she carried. Hopefully, the medicine cat knew how to deliver kits.

BladeFlame Following close beside her, he could tell that they were not on their way out hunting. He was thankful for this, because he knew RiverLullaby shouldn't be hunting or doing anything dangerous while she was carrying kits. Now curious, he realized that he doesn't recall ever seeing the medicine cat or ever being to the nursery. Smiling reassuringly to his mate, they continued their way to nursery. |
