Nodding slowly he was glad RazorWolf planned on staying Deputy. He was the best for the job it seemed. We both know I haven't been here long.. but I think you're the best suited for the responsibility of Deputy. He has seen how strict RazorWolf can be when it comes to keeping the Clan well trained and protected.

He laughed a little. He wasn't a good deputy. A good deputy wouldn't be sleeping with the Leader making the clan weak with out a leader. I hope with Ribbonstar's pregnancy that the others want to settle down and have kits of their own. What about you, have you thought of a cat you would like to settle down with? I'd liketo think that BlizzardClan his home of the she-cats StarClan used to keep us in line. he laughed remembering the first time he saw Ribbonstar. He had just entered the apprentice den. She was sitting there sleeping right after a long hunt. Razorwolf remembered when she had pulled out a long painful splitter out of his pad and how they grew closer.

He smiled thinking about RiverLullaby and nodded. I'd like to settle down with RiverLullaby and have kits.. He missed her presence and wondered what she was off doing right now. Probably still helping Medicine Cat. Although, he was enjoying this time he got to spend with RazorWolf getting to know him better.

He nodded. before smiling softly. Riverlullaby was always the one to sing the kits to sleep and would hide in the Nursery and help the mothers with their young instead of hunt. She is a strong she-cat. Best of luck to the two of you. She would make a wonderful mother since she is so caring. he chucked remembering that time she would take the kits out to the river for a walk.

She bounded in and pounced on Bladeflame licking his ear laughing before leaping into her nest. She seemed to be a silver ball of energy. Her scent was changed from the usual sweet fragrance to a sharp smell of dirt and herbs. Her ear was dirty and her back was dusted with brown sand from falling and rolling in the hole she had dug to get some more dock leaves. I hope Ribbonstar's okay. Kits can be a paw-full and the future of the clan now rests on her shoulders. she said out of breath [/center]

He smiled bright and laughed as she pounced on him. Following her to her nest he breathed in the scent of herbs and smiled at her. Looking up to RazorWolf he nodded with thanks and smiled, laying down beside RiverLullaby licking the dirt off her ear. How was your herb gathering? He asked with a smile wrapping his tail around her.

She moved her head and blushed a little. Sitting up quickly, she licked the dirt off her paws to beginning her bath to remove all of the dirt and grime from the silver hairs. It went well.The roots of plants were easy to dig up and we were able to gather a few death berries. We hope we never have to use them but it is something we are required to use. It's still a horrid way to die. she said remembering when her brother was killed by death berries after being wounded to the point where he was gasping for air that didn't contain what he needed. Hey blue eyes softened and moistened with salty tears. She took a deep breath and looked up at the night sky smiling at the stars and whispering a few words to her lost brother.

Smiling, he was happy she had returned back to the den. He had missed her while she was out. Watching her bathe herself, he smiled and replied, So you managed to gather plenty of herbs? That's good. He followed her gaze to the sky and smiled sitting next to her with his tail wrapped around her.

Her gaze was then diverted to her jet black paws. A frown crossed her face. They didn't collect enough herbs to supply the clan. In reality, the reason Riverlullaby was covered in so much dirt wasn't because she fell, it was because the medicine cat and her ventured over the border to collect herbs with out knowing it was Veldtclan's territory. They hadn't marked their borders since the last rain. Their stench wasn't poisoning the ground. The two cats crossed over. The border patrol saw Riverlullaby first and the battle started. The clan felt she was stealing prey, until they identified that the other cat was the medicine cat. Once all of that was settled, she was able to cross on her side and mark the BlizzardClan boarder. Before helping gather herbs and returning home. Yea. we should be good for a few moons! Those roots are so deep and stubborn, while I was trying to rip some, I fell and rolled into a pit of dirt. she said cheerfully to hide any evidence of the event. Hopefully, it would be forgotten before the next gathering.

He smiled, happy she had returned. It seemed to him they had been out a bit longer than expected, but he supposed that must've meant they had gathered plenty of herbs. He let his eyes follow RiverLullaby's body, examining her coat. Good to see you're okay. He said happily. Was there any trouble while you were out there? His eyes met her and he smiled.

She gave a slightly nervous laugh. Could he see right through her? Nope! No trouble at all. We saw some VeldtClan cats checking the boarder. But I went over and made sure our boundaries were strongly marked. She said. Her tummy had been sore for a few days now. She just figured it was a just a mouse that was mad with her for eating it.

He nodded, accepting what he was told. That's good. I'm glad there was no trouble. After hearing about VeldtClan, he was happy they hadn't tried anything. He smiled looking at her. He had his tail curled around her slightly, moving the tip back and forth slowly.

She smiled softly before curling up in a tight silver ball. Her eyes showed discomfort as if something was bothering her. She tried to push that feeling away knowing it was probably nothing. Riverlullaby had been hungrier than usual, but she felt she must have just been busy. Her belly was a little plumper than usual, a bad mouse could have bloated her. The possibilities were endless, yet only one was jumping out to her.

Smiling, he wrapped his tail around his mate. He was happy here with her, but when he looked up into her eyes he could see her discomfort and he sensed her unease. Tilting his head slightly to the side he asked quietly. Is something wrong? He asked, worried that she may be in pain.

Multiple thoughts went through her head. She took note of each one. She placed her silver silk paws over her head keeping her face hidden. It couldn't be that. Not with Ribbonstar being out of commission. It just wouldn't be right. I think... I may be having kits... she said quietly, almost ashamed of herself for being with kits at the same time Ribbonstar was having her own.

Kits..? He said quietly, not really expecting an answer because he had a feeling she was correct. Using his paws, he removed his mate's paws from hiding her face and smiled softly. Isn't that a good thing? He was sure it was. Now there would be two she-cats who were having kits, and the kits would grow up to be members of BlizzardClan. This is what RiverLullaby had told him about the clan needing to have more cats settle down with a mate and have kits. He rested down close beside her to comfort her.
